The Ajmer Sharif Dargah Blast

Nitin and Rohit have an interesting pow-wow going.

The blast assumes significance for three reasons. It is not in a Congress ruled state, it targets a Muslim shrine and it follows weeks of social turmoil in Rajasthan.

The lack of a coherent national strategy and an incompetent internal security executive continue to hurt…..

    Yossarin,

    The Rajasthan home minister claimed they had advance information about the attacks but the forces were too busy heading off the Gujjar tensions. Not sure how much truth there is to this, but even if there is a grain of truth in it, it highlights the opportunity costs of promoting the entitlement economy.
